“Yesterday I gave Johnny his first wishbone. ‘Make a wish,’ I said. He took a deep breath, looked straight at the wishbone—and blew!” Your kids have done and said delightful things too.  But I wrote them down, and then added a bit of philosophy. “…If ever you find yourself dry of dreams, run—do not walk—to the nearest wishbone, think up a great one—and blow!” Just listen, and let your own kids be your inspiration.
